Worship at
Westerly Road
Church
Sunday morning worship is an opportunity to worship the Lord through corporate prayer and singing, and to grow spiritually as the Word of God is taught and applied to everyday life. Our worship incorporates a blend of traditional hymns with contemporary worship and praise songs.
We have two worship services each Sunday morning, at 9:30 and 11:00. The services have identical order of worship and sermon messages. Nursery care is available at both services for infants through age 3.
SUNDAY SCHOOL is offered for ages 1 to 101! Adults may choose from electives on books of the Bible or topical studies on Christian beliefs and living. Children attend classes divided by grade levels. Sunday School meets during the 9:30 service. During the 11:00 service there is a Children’s Church for children age 4 through third grade; children stay with their parents in church and leave before the sermon.
MONTHLY FELLOWSHIP LUNCH takes place after the 11:00 service on the first Sunday of the month. It provides a simple meal for any in the church who want to attend. We complete the day by devoting ourselves not only to the teaching of the apostles but to the breaking of bread and to fellowship (Acts 2:42).
CPR stands for Community Prayer Renewal. This is a monthly time of coming together to seek the constant renewal of the Spirit through the power of the gospel, praying for the work of the Spirit in our church and our community and our individual lives. Most meetings are the third Sunday of the month at 6:30 pm.
Special EVENING SERVICES are called from time to time, often Sunday at 6:30, such as for teaching mini-series or for seasonal choir concerts.
