Those that know Crystal best would say that she has come a long way from being that shy little girl eternally attached to her mother’s skirt.Born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina, Crystal could have never imagined the opportunities that God would place before her.During the first semester of her freshman year at Lee University she was given the chance to audition for a drama ministry group called Kingdom Players, and to her surprise she was one of the few chosen to be apart of the six member team.Crystal remained with the team for an unheard of four years, traveling the country ministering, teaching, and most of all serving.During her junior and senior years of college, Crystal served as the team leader, and it was during this time that she realized her call to drama ministry.After graduating in 2005 with her BA in Theatre, Crystal decided to take some time to join the “real world” and worked for a Christian television company as an administrative assistant to help ease the “glaring eyes” of the federal government by paying back some of her student loans!Crystal joins the Westerly staff as an office assistant and feels blessed to be a part of the ministries here at WRC.In her spare time Crystal enjoys relaxing with friends, playing in the park, drinking root beer floats, and is currently writing multiple drama sketches as well as a children’s play.
