I have been attending Westerly since September 2006 and have had the privilege of substitute teaching in the Sunday School and most recently leading the Women’s Evening Bible Study in the studies of Ruth and Esther.
I grew up in New York City and moved in 2006 to Monroe Township via Netcong (northwest N.J.). Prior to moving to central N.J. I worked for The Salvation Army at its N.J. Divisional Headquarters in Union. I began with "The Army” as a volunteer following 9-11 and shortly thereafter joined the staff as a social services coordinator assisting 9-11 families.
A desire of many years to minister to the hurting, I will be pursuing training in Biblical Counseling at CCEF and Westminster Theological Seminary beginning mid-June.
