Carine was born in Haiti and migrated with her brother and sisters settling in Princeton in 1975 leaving behind precious childhood memories of growing up on the Island.  She received Christ as her savior during her sophomore year of high school and became active in the church and youth group after attending a Young Life summer camp outing in Colorado.  She received a B.S. from Fairleigh Dickinson University,an M.A. in Counseling and Personnel Services from the College of New Jersey and a Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree from Rider University.  She is a licensed professional counselor, and spent most of her career as a higher education administrator working primarily with disadvantage college students.  Carine has extensive experience in cross-cultural understanding, speaks three foreign languages and traveled throughout the world as an ambassador with college students and administrators in 2000.  She has been a part of arranging, planning and attending over a dozen international mission trips over the past six years.  It was during one of those trips that she felt called to go into full-time missions work using the gifts and talents that God has blessed her with during her life.  Carine enjoys traveling, playing volleyball, camping, gardening and hanging out with her friends and her large extended family!
