About Us
Since the formation of Westerly Road Church in 1956, the Lord has given us a vision and an ever growing passion for missions. Today, we have over 76 missionaries working with over 30 mission agencies to fulfill the Great Commission. Our missionaries are working in Africa, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, Australia, Europe, as well as in the United States and Canada. They are engaged in preaching, teaching, evangelism, church planting, medical ministry, translation and literacy, and much more.
We have a flourishing short term mission program that supports our missionaries and local community outreach. Our praise is to the Lord for the many years WRC ahs been about making diciples in princeton and around the world.
Our Missionaries
WRC supports over 51 missionary familys around the world. In partnership with our church and vairous missionary agencies, these workers serve in widely diverse areas-from translating the Scriptures to teaching at seminaries and schools. The majority of missionaries are membrs of the congregation who were inspired by other missionaries, speakers and pastors encouraging them to get involved in the work of the great commission. Westerly has a proud history of being a mission sending church beginning with our first missionry in 1956.
Misions Conferences and Festivities
Annually the Missions Team sponsors a mission focus conference or similar events to educate, encourage, and challenge the congregation about missions. Some of those activities include: Missions Fest, Missions Focus Sunday, International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church, and small group workshops and sessions.
